Physician Opportunity in Family Medicine

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled family physician to join our team at Nova Scotia Health and IWK Health. As a family physician, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive primary health care services to patients of all ages and stages of health or illness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide Patient-Centered Care: Ensure the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care to patients of all ages and stages of health or illness.
- Collaborate with Healthcare Team: Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, including nurse practitioners, licensed nurse practitioners, and social workers, to provide comprehensive care to patients.
- Manage Patient Care: Continuum of patient care with health care providers within your practice and/or community.
- Participate in Quality Improvement: Participate in quality improvement and evaluation activities to ensure the highest standard of care.
- Utilize Electronic Medical Records: Utilize an electronic medical record (EMR) and record all relevant patient details in a provincially approved EMR which is accessible to all collaborating team members.
Requirements:
- Eligibility for Licensure: All applicants must be eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Nova Scotia (CPSNS).
- Membership with CMPA: Membership with the Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA).
