We are seeking a skilled Family Medicine Physician to join our team at Nova Scotia Health Authority. As a Family Medicine Physician, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive primary health care services to patients of all ages and stages of health or illness.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality patient care, ensuring a continuum of care with healthcare providers within your practice and/or community.
- Provide care and coordination of community-based care, secondary, and tertiary level healthcare services.
- Work collaboratively with other team members in the practice to best suit the community's health needs.
- Participate in quality improvement and evaluation activities.
- Utilize an electronic medical record (EMR) and record all relevant patient details in a provincially approved EMR accessible to all collaborating team members.
Our clinic operates on a full-time basis, with clinic hours from Monday to Friday. We offer a collaborative and supportive work environment, with opportunities for professional development and community involvement.
Requirements- Membership with the Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in using electronic medical records.
