Senior Sales Manager

Mackenzie Stuart is partnering with a 3rd party logistics firm to drive growth in Rail & FTL Transport across Western Europe.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in FTL & Rail space across Eastern & Central Europe.
  • Develop and execute effective sales strategies, including market research, competitor analysis, and sales forecasting, to drive revenue growth.
  • Lead negotiations, close high-value deals, and manage the full sales cycle, ensuring alignment with company goals and profitability targets.
  • Explore new market segments and geographies to expand the company's footprint and increase market share.
  • Collaborate with operations, marketing, and finance teams to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Prepare regular sales reports, including pipeline management, performance metrics, and market insights to inform senior management.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to enhance brand visibility and reputation.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 8 years of proven experience in logistics sales or business development, with a strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Fluent in both English and German (written and spoken) with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and internal teams.
  • In-depth understanding of the logistics and supply chain market, including trends, challenges, and key players in the industry.
  • Demonstrated expertise in developing and executing sales strategies, closing deals, and managing client relationships within the logistics sector.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with experience in using data to drive business decisions and strategies.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
