About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Audit and Assurance team as a Business Analyst. As a Business Analyst, you will play a key role in providing high-quality audit and assurance services to our clients, while also developing your skills and expertise in accounting and finance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct audits and assurance engagements for a variety of clients, including public and private companies, not-for-profit organizations, and government entities.
  • Develop and implement audit plans, including identifying and assessing risks, and designing and executing audit procedures.
  • Analyze financial data and prepare audit reports, including identifying and reporting on any material weaknesses or deficiencies.
  • Communicate with clients and stakeholders, including presenting audit findings and recommendations.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting and auditing standards, and apply this knowledge to our audit and assurance services.
Requirements
  • Strong academic record, with a focus on accounting and finance.
  • Commitment to achieving the Canadian CPA designation and working to obtain the CPA required pre-requisite courses at your post-secondary institution.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a team environment, with a focus on collaboration and teamwork.
