We are a dynamic and growing healthcare organization dedicated to providing exceptional patient care. As an Administrative Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our team's efforts to deliver high-quality services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative assistance to our team, including planning and organizing daily operations, scheduling appointments, and managing correspondence.
  • Communication: Answer telephone calls, relay messages, and respond to electronic enquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Office Management: Order office supplies, maintain inventory, and ensure the smooth operation of our administrative systems.
  • Client Relations: Greet patients and visitors, direct them to relevant contacts or service areas, and provide a welcoming and supportive environment.
  • Documentation: Type and proofread correspondence, forms, and other documents to ensure accuracy and professionalism.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with our team to achieve our goals and objectives.
  • Cultural Competency: Provide cultural competency training and awareness to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers.
  • Newcomer Support: Supports newcomers and/or refugees with foreign credential recognition and offers mentorship programs that pair newcomers and/or refugees with experienced employees.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in an administrative role.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
