Position Overview
Are you dedicated to the field of nursing? We are looking for a committed Registered Nurse to contribute to our operations at Northern Health Authority. The nurse will deliver direct care to patients in the peri-operative setting and will work under the supervision of the Operating Room Head Nurse. Key responsibilities include evaluating patient requirements, devising and executing nursing care plans, and maintaining accurate documentation of patient progress.
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday / Day shifts - 07:00 to 15:00
Salary: $59.52 per hour
Northern Health Authority operates a comprehensive healthcare facility equipped with modern amenities, including surgical suites, outpatient clinics, emergency services, intensive care units, and maternity care.
Qualifications Required:
- Active registration with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing RN.
- Current certifications in relevant therapeutic areas.
- A minimum of one year of recent experience in the Operating Room or Post-Anesthetic Care.
Essential Skills and Competencies:
- Strong communication abilities.
- Physical capability to perform nursing responsibilities.
- Understanding of specialized nursing techniques.
- Knowledge of aseptic practices.
