Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Make Waves Coffee Inc. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service establishment, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food meets the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Staff

Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively to meet the needs of our customers.

Train and Develop Staff

Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and ensure that they have the skills and knowledge necessary to provide excellent customer service.

Quality Control

Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, and take corrective action when necessary to maintain high standards.

Customer Service

Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, and ensure that their needs are met.

Record Keeping

Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and prepare and submit reports as required.

Work Environment

The Food Service Supervisor will work in a fast-paced environment, with a combination of sitting, standing, walking, and standing for extended periods. The successful candidate will be physically demanding and able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.

Requirements
  • Education

No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this position.

Experience

1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service establishment is required.

Language

English is the primary language spoken in this establishment.
