- Deliver Business Insights and Strategic Support: Act as a subject matter expert in Retail Banking Strategy and customer initiatives. Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze key customer and financial data, establishing trends and providing recommendations on channel performance.
- Champion data-driven decision-making: Develop and present analytical solutions and dashboards that empower team members and business partners to derive insights and make informed decisions. Provide comprehensive reporting and analysis on key performance metrics across various retail and business segments.
- Understand risk management: Recognize how the Bank's risk appetite and culture should influence daily operations and decision-making.
- Ensure operational efficiency: Pursue effective operations in alignment with Scotiabank's values and compliance standards, ensuring adherence to business controls related to operational, compliance, and conduct risks.
- Promote a high-performance environment: Contribute to an inclusive workplace culture.
Do you possess the skills that will enable you to excel in this role? We would be interested in your application if you have:
- 5+ years of experience in Banking, Reporting, Analytics, Strategy, or Finance.
- Experience in handling and analyzing large datasets.
- Strong proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Proactive approach with excellent presentation and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated facilitation skills with a record of leading cross-functional teams.
- Flexibility to adapt to diverse tasks and changing demands.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a results-oriented mindset.
- Exceptional organizational and analytical skills with keen attention to detail.
- A curious and innovative mindset to drive progress amidst uncertainty.
