About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Application Support Analyst to join our team. As an Application Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical support for business-critical applications, ensuring timely resolution of incidents and service requests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide hands-on technical support for business-critical applications, ensuring timely resolution of incidents and service requests.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Perform system analysis, identify areas for improvement, and implement enhancements to streamline processes and increase efficiency.
  • Monitor application performance and proactively address issues to minimize downtime and optimize performance.
  • Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and third-party technical teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment of objectives.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including user guides, process flows, and system configuration details.
  • Participate in technical testing and deployment activities, including coordination of user acceptance testing (UAT) and production releases.
  • Conduct knowledge transfer sessions and provide support to end-users to maximize their understanding and utilization of implemented solutions.
  • Provide 24/7 support to our critical line of businesses to ensure Core Banking meets its SLA of application up time.
Requirements
  • Over 2 years of work experience in an IT environment/Production support or Business Systems Analyst role.
  • Bachelor's degree/diploma in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Certification in ITIL, Agile, or related disciplines.
  • Proven experience in application support, production support, and business systems analysis roles.
  • Strong technical proficiency with enterprise banking applications and systems.
  • Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and IT service management (ITSM) best practices.
  • Experience with SQL, scripting languages, or business intelligence tools.
  • Experience with AWS CLI, supporting applications running in a SaaS and PaaS model (both AWS and Azure) is an asset.
  • Working experience with ServiceNow, Jira, Confluence – change and incident management is strongly recommended.
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance and security standards relevant to the industry.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and recommend effective solutions.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities effectively.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive annual salary plus a discretionary profit share opportunity. Salary for this position will vary between $75,000 and $85,000 per year depending on the knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience that the chosen candidate possesses.
