Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Project Coordinator to join our team at Active Mechanical Services. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and managing construction projects from start to finish, ensuring timely completion and within budget.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Coordination:
    • Coordinate and manage construction projects, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
    • Develop and implement project plans, timelines, and budgets.
    • Monitor and control project progress, identifying and mitigating potential risks and issues.
  • Subcontractor Management:
    • Coordinate and manage subcontractors, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
    • Develop and implement subcontractor management plans, including quality control and assurance.
  • Communication and Collaboration:
    • Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including clients, engineers, architects, and contractors.
    • Collaborate with project team members to ensure project goals and objectives are met.
  • Quality Control and Assurance:
    • Develop and implement quality control and assurance plans, including inspection and testing.
    • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Financial Management:
    • Manage project budgets, including forecasting, tracking, and reporting.
    • Develop and implement financial management plans, including cost control and risk management.
  • Reporting and Documentation:
    • Prepare and submit project reports, including progress reports, financial reports, and quality control reports.
    • Develop and maintain project documentation, including project plans, schedules, and budgets.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in construction project coordination or management.
  • Skills:
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong organizational and time management skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Project.
    • Knowledge of construction management software and systems.
