As a Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the daily operations of assigned projects. This leadership position is essential for ensuring that projects are executed efficiently, adhering to budgetary constraints, timelines, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Senior Project Manager to establish project frameworks, including Preconstruction in Progress (PIP) forms and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Facilitate the acquisition of necessary permits and permissions for construction activities.
  • Work closely with team members and stakeholders to identify and implement effective project delivery strategies.
  • Assist in managing change orders, tracking requests for information, and coordinating approvals of shop drawings.
  • Prepare and maintain project budgets, schedules, and cost reports throughout the construction phase.
  • Support the management of subcontractors, ensuring compliance with project requirements and performance evaluations.
  • Foster positive relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards as per legislative requirements and company policies.
  • Assist in the project closeout process, including final reports and outstanding charges.

Qualifications:

  • A degree in engineering or construction management.
  • Relevant designations such as E.I.T., P. Eng., CET, or PQS are preferred.
  • A background in institutional and commercial construction.
  • A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in construction management, with at least 3 years in project management of large-scale industrial projects.
  • Proven leadership and problem-solving skills, with a collaborative approach to achieving results.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
