Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Cashier to join our team at Two Hills Liquor Store. This role is essential in providing excellent customer service while efficiently managing transactions.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • Experience: No prior experience necessary; we will provide comprehensive training.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the cash register and process various forms of payment including cash, checks, and credit/debit cards.
  • Accurately scan and record items purchased by customers.
  • Handle payments for goods and services while ensuring accuracy in transactions.
  • Reconcile daily or shift payments with total sales to maintain financial integrity.
  • Engage in suggestive selling to enhance customer experience.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the checkout area and stock shelves as needed.
  • Welcome customers with a friendly demeanor and assist them with their purchases.
  • Package merchandise appropriately for customers.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and address any inquiries or concerns.
  • Participate in promotional activities to drive sales.
  • Verify customer age for the purchase of age-restricted items such as lottery tickets, alcohol, or tobacco products.
