Retail Sales Associate

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team at Two Hills Liquor Store. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Operate Cash Register: Accurately process transactions, handle cash, credit, and debit card payments, and maintain a clean and organized cash handling area.
- Process Transactions: Scan items, receive payment for goods or services, and reconcile daily/shift payments with total sales.
- Provide Customer Service: Greet customers, respond to inquiries, and resolve any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
- Stock Shelves and Maintain Store Appearance: Restock shelves, clean the counter area, and maintain a visually appealing store environment.
- Participate in Promotional Activities: Engage with customers, promote products, and participate in in-store events and promotions.
- Verify Age for Restricted Products: Verify the age of customers when selling lottery tickets, alcohol, or tobacco products.
- Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Participate in diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and refugees.
- Support for Youths: Offer on-the-job training tailored to youth and provide a supportive work environment.
- Support for Mature Workers: Participate in awareness training to create a welcoming work environment for mature workers.
- Work Language: English
- Hours: 32 to 40 hours per week
