About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team at CONQUR INDUSTRIES INC. as a Material Handling Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for operating a variety of equipment to load, unload, and move materials and products safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate Forklifts and Other Equipment: Safely operate a range of equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to move materials and products around the warehouse.
  • Weigh and Verify Materials: Weigh and verify the weight and quantity of materials and products to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Transport and Distribute Materials: Transport and distribute materials and products to various areas of the warehouse and to external customers.
  • Organize and Maintain Inventory: Organize and maintain inventory levels, including receiving, storing, and shipping materials and products.
  • Use Inventory Control Systems: Use computerized inventory control systems to track and manage inventory levels, including ordering and receiving materials and products.
Work Environment and Physical Demands

This is a physically demanding role that requires the ability to lift, bend, and stand for long periods. You will be working in a fast-paced warehouse environment with a high level of activity and noise.

Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
  • Experience: Will train the successful candidate on the job.
  • Language: English is the primary language of communication in this role.
  • Work Schedule: 32 hours per week.
