Position Summary:

We are in search of a Finance Category Marketing Manager who possesses a keen financial insight to spearhead strategic marketing initiatives. This role is essential in the Finance sector, requiring strong leadership and industry knowledge to transform market data into creative advertising solutions that drive revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Report directly to the Head of Digital Advertising Innovation and Category Management.
  • Collaborate across various departments including Editorial, Custom Content, Sales, and Marketing.
  • Conduct in-depth analyses of the Finance, Insurance, Education, Business, and Technology sectors.
  • Develop marketing insights and innovative advertising strategies.
  • Analyze consumer trends and business challenges within specific categories, effectively conveying insights to the sales team.
  • Create analytical frameworks to assist Sales in identifying new business opportunities, utilizing both internal and external research.
  • Perform comprehensive competitive analysis to highlight strategic advantages for advertising clients.
  • Collaborate on sales strategies for key client accounts.
  • Provide the sales team with timely updates on competitive analysis, trends, and insights.
  • Assist in crafting compelling responses to RFPs and maintain sales-related resources.
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in category or product marketing, preferably within the Finance sector.
  • At least 5 years of experience in marketing, sales, or media.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate analysis into actionable insights and create engaging product presentations.
  • Experience in independently managing and driving complex projects.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
