Business Development Manager

We are seeking a seasoned Sales Account Manager to drive growth and expansion in the packaging industry. As a key member of our team, you will leverage your expertise to identify and pursue new business opportunities, build and maintain strong relationships with clients, and develop strategic plans to achieve sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, targeting diverse sectors within the packaging industry.
  • Client Management: Build and nurture strong, long-lasting relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor to understand their needs and provide tailored packaging solutions.
  • Market Research: Stay abreast of industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities, conducting market research to identify potential clients and emerging opportunities.
  • Sales Presentations and Negotiations: Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations to potential clients, negotiating contracts and pricing agreements to ensure mutual benefit.
  • Collaboration and Teamwork: Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless project execution, providing feedback from the market to contribute to product and service enhancements.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 5-10 years of proven sales experience in the packaging industry.
  • Established book of business within the packaging sector.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Corporate and polished demeanor, with a focus on building professional relationships.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
Compensation:
  • Competitive base salary between $95,000-$125,000.
  • Commission structure based on sales performance.
  • Expenses covered for business-related travel and client meetings.
