Job Title: Retail and Outlets Manager

Location: Kananaskis Mountain Lodge, AB

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic leader to oversee the daily operations of our retail store and Market cafe. The successful candidate will have experience in Retail or Food & Beverage, with exceptional team leadership and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage shop inventory to ensure it is well-stocked and organized
  • Assist in purchasing decisions, monitor inventory levels and reorder merchandise as needed
  • Hire, train, and supervise staff members
  • Enforce procedures and policies, ensuring compliance
  • Foster a positive work environment and motivate the team for optimal performance
  • Oversee day-to-day store operations to ensure efficiency
  • Uphold industry and company standards for guest service and consistency
  • Collaborate with other departments to facilitate communication and teamwork
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and standards
  • Manage daily payroll and labor costs
  • Create incentive programs to motivate employees and drive sales
  • Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and effectively
  • Lead by example in providing excellent customer service
  • Cultivate a consistent service culture focused on customer satisfaction

Requirements:

  • Proven supervisory or managerial experience in Retail or F&B
  • Strong decision-making skills in fast-paced environments
  • Track record of achieving sales targets and analyzing data
  • Proficiency in financial transactions and excellent communication skills
  • Drive to succeed and work independently
  • Exceptional organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks under pressure
