Job Title: Quality Assurance Manager III

McCormick Canada is seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Manager III to lead our quality control function and ensure product safety, integrity, and conformance with customer, Divisional, Corporate, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain customer quality satisfaction through the implementation and use of programs to control raw materials, in-process materials, production process, environmental conditions, and finished products.
  • Conduct or coordinate customer/vendor visits and third-party audits, execute plans for continuous improvement for operations, and prepare and oversee customer site visits and audits.
  • Utilize MHPS Systems to empower and develop teams, perform evaluations, create development/training plans, and manage employee relations.
  • Interact with other division QA Managers, Directors, and Corporate QA leadership, lead QA Team to develop specifications, BOMs, recipes, and inspection plans for raw materials and finished goods.
  • Manage department staffing, expense budget, and capital projects, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations issued by OSHA, EPA, FDA, and other federal, state, and local regulatory agencies.
Requirements:
  • BSc in Technical - Quality/Research/Product Development
  • Minimum of +10 years functional/leadership experience with demonstrated significant and relevant skills and consistent results in functional area and in leadership roles.
  • Strong leadership experience with demonstrated success in managing multiple projects and people, requiring a detailed understanding of how all areas of the plant and warehouse interact to contribute to the business and meet customer expectations.
  • Extensive knowledge of HACCP, Auditing, SSOP's, GMP's, FDA, OSHA, Quality Systems, and Plant Sanitation required.
  • Strong communication and diplomacy skills are required to guide and influence others, with leadership of exempt Team Managers or equivalent to achieve common objectives.
