Regional Sales Manager for Customer Support

Brandt is actively looking for a Regional Sales Manager for Customer Support specializing in Truck & Trailer for the Southern Ontario area.

As a pivotal contributor to the enhancement and expansion of our product support initiatives, the Regional Sales Manager will collaborate closely with the Sales, Parts, Service, and Branch management teams to establish and fulfill essential objectives for the region. This role will ensure that our Customer Support Advisors (CSAs) are accountable for driving product support sales growth and fostering customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and oversee strategic and annual business plans for the region, focusing on achieving sales and profitability targets.
  • Guide and educate the CSAs to promote all of Brandt's product support initiatives within the region, including but not limited to:
    • Fleetwise – Machine Monitoring and Preventive Maintenance
    • Wirtgen Winter Works
    • Ground Engaging Tools
    • Labour Sales
  • Manage CSA processes such as call reporting, CRM utilization, and target setting.
  • Support CSAs with customer interactions and management of key accounts.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for CSAs on a monthly basis.
  • Evaluate and implement effective coverage strategies for the region.
  • Engage directly with major accounts in the region to advocate for Brandt's comprehensive product support offerings.
  • Provide insights on regional industry trends, including:
    • Growth opportunities
    • Initiation of new offerings
    • Promotion of existing services
  • Conduct market intelligence analysis on competitors, customers, and industry trends.
  • Analyze sales and profitability data to uncover opportunities for improvement.
  • Review reports to offer insights and feedback to enhance CSA and branch performance.
  • Identify new product opportunities and collaborate internally to address them.

Required Skills

  • Proven sales management experience with the ability to drive the sales process from initiation to closure.
  • Extensive industry knowledge in the heavy equipment sector, particularly in repair and maintenance.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with the capacity to maintain connections with key customers, including executive-level stakeholders.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Capability to recruit, train, and inspire a team to pursue and expand business opportunities.
  • Highly organized, able to manage multiple projects under time constraints.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary.
  • Creative, self-motivated, team-oriented, quick learner, detail-oriented, and driven to achieve success.
  • Strong collaboration and relationship management skills to motivate and influence others.

Required Experience

The ideal candidate will possess a successful track record in sales management, a commitment to exceptional customer service, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a motivated team. A relevant combination of education and experience in the heavy equipment product support sector is essential.
