Key Responsibilities

Leadership and Sales Support:

  • Provide strategic leadership and sales support to assigned regions of the retail distribution channel.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to ensure optimum representation of Retail Investments products.

Sales and Channel Development:

  • Collaborate with Retail Investments, Product Delivery Groups to establish requirements for sales tools, training, and process development.
  • Identify and provide product-specific training to sales teams.
  • Support Retail Investments National Sales Campaigns and Programs.

Relationship and Channel Management:

  • Optimize local market opportunities through effective interface and interaction between the Distribution Channel and other LOB and Divisional Groups.
  • Build and maintain industry relations within the region of the Distribution Channel.
  • Represent Retail Investments at local market functions and solicit feedback from the retail channel.

Sales and Service Delivery:

  • Monitor Retail Investments sales and service targets against District/Area/Branch plans.
  • Assist with monitoring the effectiveness of Marketing initiatives and provide recommendations.
  • Foster a sales culture of goal achievement and superior customer satisfaction.

Planning and Budgeting:

  • Develop and organize travel plans and manage an assigned territorial budget.
  • Attend weekly team conference calls and submit weekly activities reports.

Requirements:

  • Typically between 5-7 years of relevant experience in Financial Planning or Branch Management.
  • Post-secondary degree in a related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of investment products and markets.
  • In-depth knowledge of sales strategies and competitive marketplace trends.
