Join Canada Post as a Lead Counsel focusing on Employment and Labor Relations. We seek a proficient attorney with a background in litigation, analytical skills, and effective communication to join our esteemed team. In this role, you will deliver strategic legal guidance and exceptional services in a financially prudent manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act on behalf of Canada Post in litigation related to employment and labor law, particularly in cases of termination disputes.
- Provide forward-thinking legal counsel to management to address business challenges and mitigate legal exposure.
- Guide and mentor team members while supervising external legal advisors on various matters.
- Perform legal research and generate comprehensive opinions on a range of issues.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor degree from an accredited institution and membership in the provincial bar.
- Significant experience in litigation, particularly in the realm of employment and labor law.
