Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at TANDOORI TIME INC. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our food service staff, ensuring that our high standards of quality and customer service are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.
  • Operations Management
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
    • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation and manage inventory levels.
    • Prepare and submit reports on sales, stock, and wastage to inform business decisions.
  • Customer Service
    • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
    • Ensure that customer feedback is documented and used to improve service quality.
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Prepare and submit budgets and cost estimates for food service operations.
    • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.
  • Work Environment
    • Fast-paced environment with high pressure to meet customer demands.
  • Physical Demands
    • Standing for extended periods and walking as required.
  • Personal Qualities
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment.
Working Conditions

This is a permanent, full-time position with a 37.5 hour work week. The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment with high pressure to meet customer demands.
