Accounts Payable Supervisor

Southbridge Care Homes is seeking a highly skilled Accounts Payable Supervisor to join our corporate finance team at our head office in Cambridge, Ontario. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the accounts payable department, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, and providing exceptional support to our operations teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the accounts payable department, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Manage and analyze financial data, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Collaborate with operations teams to resolve invoicing discrepancies and ensure accurate payment processing.
  • Prepare and present financial reports to management, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
  • Assist with audit requests and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a high-volume AP role.
  • Proven supervisory experience and ability to lead a team.
  • Post-secondary education in business, accounting, or related field.
  • Experience with Sage Intacct and MS Office.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
