Join the Medical Oncology Department

We are seeking a dedicated family physician to become a part of our Medical Oncology team. As a General Practitioner in Oncology (GPO), you will work collaboratively with Medical Oncologists, nurses, and various specialists in a multidisciplinary setting. Your primary responsibilities will include providing outpatient care for patients undergoing treatment and conducting follow-up appointments. Additionally, you will offer some inpatient care support, with no on-call responsibilities.

The Surrey Centre provides an extensive array of services, including Medical Oncology, Radiation Oncology, and Palliative Care, along with essential support services such as Nutrition and Clinical Trials.

Qualifications

Applicants must possess a family physician license in British Columbia and meet the criteria set by the BC Cancer Agency and Surrey Memorial Hospital's medical staff. Previous experience in medical oncology is not a prerequisite, as our department is committed to supporting your skill development.

Candidates should exhibit:
