About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Warehouse Forklift Operator to join our team at Dessert Holdings Inc. in London, ON. As a key member of our warehouse team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe operation of our warehouse facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Warehouse Operations: Staging and setting up packaging materials, picking and storing raw materials, and preparing next day's receiving tickets.
  • Receiving and Shipping: Receiving raw materials, locating products in the warehouse, and loading trailers.
  • Inventory Management: Conducting inventory cycle counts and maintaining accurate records.
  • Equipment Operation: Operating forklifts, hi-reach forklifts, and walkies, as well as other power equipment.
  • Housekeeping and Safety: Maintaining a clean and safe working environment, adhering to procedures and safety practices.
Requirements
  • Valid Forklift License: Must have a valid forklift license and be able to drive a standup Crown counterbalance and reach truck.
  • Cold Temperature Tolerance: Comfortable working in cold temperatures (freezer and refrigeration).
  • Scheduling Flexibility: Ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Benefits
  • Competitive Pay: $24.07 per hour (probationary rate), $26.75 per hour (full rate).
  • Benefits Package: Comprehensive benefits and RRSP contribution after probation is complete.
  • Shift Premiums: Shift premium for all hours worked between 7:00 pm – 5:00 am, and weekend premium for all hours worked between 5:00 am - 7:00 pm.
