The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Corporate Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payables transactions, maintaining effective communication with vendors, and providing administrative support to our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process and reconcile payables transactions in compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Prepare and issue cheques and electronic fund transfers (EFTs) as required.
  • Communicate effectively with vendors and stakeholders to resolve any issues or concerns.
  • Provide administrative support, including reception coverage as needed.
  • Reconcile credit card statements and generate ad hoc reports as required.
  • Support departmental projects and initiatives as assigned.
  • Cultivate a positive and harmonious work environment.
Requirements:
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in QuickBooks or other accounting software.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.
