About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Bookkeeping Specialist to join our team at Wendy's Restaurant. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Account Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank statements to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Journal Entry Preparation: Prepare and post journal entries to record financial transactions.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • Education: College or CEGEP diploma in Accounting or related field.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
  • Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and ability to work independently.
Work Environment

This is a permanent full-time position, working 30 to 40 hours per week. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work in a fast-paced environment, and be able to maintain confidentiality.
