The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Regina. As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payables transactions, collaborating with our purchasing team to reconcile month-end invoicing and payments, and maintaining effective communication with project vendors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process and reconcile payables transactions in compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with the purchasing team to ensure accurate and timely payment of invoices.
  • Prepare and process cheques and EFT payments.
  • Maintain effective communication with project vendors and stakeholders.
  • Provide administrative support, including occasional reception coverage.
  • Generate ad hoc reports as needed.
  • Support relevant department and division projects.
Requirements
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient computer skills and ability to learn new software applications.
  • Familiarity with QuickBooks and Procore Project Management software is an asset.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
