We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as an Optometrist Assistant. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our patients receive exceptional service and care.

Job Summary:

The Optometrist Assistant will be responsible for providing top-notch customer service, assisting with patient exams, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assist Optometrists with patient exams, including preparing patients for exams, taking vital signs, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all health and safety protocols.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, Optometrists, and other team members.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest eyecare products and services, providing recommendations to patients as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Practice Manager or as business needs dictate.
Requirements:
  • High School graduate or equivalent.
  • Strong customer service skills and a passion for delivering exceptional patient experiences.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask with ease.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and credit transactions.
  • Familiarity with technology, such as point-of-sale systems and patient record software.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, Optometrists, and other team members.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Eyecare experience, preferably in an optometric setting.
  • Sales experience, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
