We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Optometrist Assistant to join our team at EssilorLuxottica Group. As an Optometrist Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient experiences and supporting the practice in achieving its goals.
Key Responsibilities- Patient Interaction: Greet patients with a warm welcome, show urgency in providing service, and satisfy their needs.
- Product Knowledge: Demonstrate superior product knowledge, accurately describe features and benefits, and use appropriate tools to assist patients.
- Problem-Solving: Anticipate problems, explore underlying reasons, and strive to develop long-term solutions.
- Time Management: Possess the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time with competing priorities.
- Point-of-Sale Operations: Operate the point-of-sale system, input patient information with accuracy, and create sales transactions when required.
- Store Appearance: Take pride in the appearance of the practice, show initiative to keep displays and inventory clean, attractive, and organized.
- Adherence to Policies: Adhere to attendance and daily time-keeping requirements, as well as all company policies and procedures.
- Education: High School graduate or equivalent.
- Customer Service Skills: Strong customer service skills and effective selling skills.
- Math Skills: Strong basic math skills.
- Technology Familiarity: Familiarity with technology, such as point-of-sale, patient record systems, or other software applications.
- Communication Skills: Strong communicator and listener.
- Eyecare Experience: Eyecare experience.
- Sales Experience: Sales experience.
