Job Summary:The Optometrist Assistant will be responsible for providing top-notch customer service, assisting with patient exams, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Key Responsibilities:- Provide exceptional customer service to patients, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Assist Optometrists with patient exams, including preparing patients for exams, taking vital signs, and maintaining accurate records.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all health and safety protocols.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, Optometrists, and other team members.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest eyecare products and services, providing recommendations to patients as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Practice Manager or as business needs dictate.
- High School graduate or equivalent.
- Strong customer service skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic math skills and ability to accurately process transactions.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with technology, such as point-of-sale systems and patient record software.
- Ability to work in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Eyecare experience or sales experience.
