About the Job

Karamveer Construction Ltd. is seeking a skilled Floor Covering Installer to join our team. As a key member of our installation crew, you will be responsible for ensuring that our clients receive high-quality flooring installations that meet their expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and Prepare Surfaces: Inspect surfaces to be covered and prepare them for installation by measuring, marking, and cleaning as needed.
  • Measure and Cut Materials: Measure and cut underlay, underpadding, carpeting, and resilient floor coverings to the correct size and shape.
  • Install Flooring: Install hardwood floors, carpeting, and resilient floor coverings on floors, ensuring a smooth and even finish.
  • Repair and Maintain: Inspect and repair damaged floor coverings, and perform routine maintenance to ensure the longevity of our installations.
  • Work with Clients: Communicate with clients to understand their needs and preferences, and work with them to ensure that their flooring installations meet their expectations.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Work Environment: Work in a variety of settings, including commercial and residential locations, and be able to work in dusty and odorous environments.
  • Physical Demands: Be physically demanding, handling heavy loads, and requiring hand-eye coordination.
