About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Floor Covering Specialist to join our team at Modalspace Construction Ltd. as a Resilient Flooring Installer and Hardwood Floor Technician.

Key Responsibilities
  • Surface Preparation: Inspect, measure, and mark surfaces to be covered, ensuring accurate and efficient installation.
  • Material Handling: Measure, cut, and fasten underlay and underpadding, as well as measure, cut, and install resilient floor coverings.
  • Hardwood Floor Installation: Prepare and install hardwood floors, ensuring a high-quality finish.
  • Inspection and Repair: Inspect and repair damaged floor coverings, restoring them to their original condition.
  • Pre-Installation Preparation: Prepare floors for installations, removing existing floor coverings and contaminants as needed.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Physical Demands: The role requires physical stamina, with frequent bending, crouching, and kneeling.
  • Work Conditions: The work environment is physically demanding, with regular exposure to dust, noise, and other hazards.
