About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Floor Covering Installer to join our team at Baljeet Kaur. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality floor coverings are installed in our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Surface Preparation: Inspect, measure, and mark surfaces to be covered, ensuring accurate and efficient installation.
  • Carpet Installation: Measure, cut, and install carpeting on floors, adhering to industry standards and company specifications.
  • Resilient Flooring Installation: Measure, cut, and install resilient floor coverings, including vinyl and linoleum, to meet customer requirements.
  • Hardwood Flooring Installation: Prepare and install hardwood floors, ensuring a smooth and even finish.
  • Floor Repair and Maintenance: Inspect and repair damaged floor coverings, extending the lifespan of our facilities.
  • Estimation and Planning: Estimate costs and materials required for each installation, ensuring accurate budgeting and scheduling.
  • Pre-Installation Preparation: Prepare floors for installations, removing existing floor coverings and contaminants as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience is an asset, but not required.
  • Language: English is the primary language spoken in the workplace.
  • Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
