About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Floor Covering Installer to join our team at Trademarks Properties Inc. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality flooring installations across various locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Pre-Installation Preparation
    • Inspect and measure surfaces to be covered to ensure accurate installation
    • Measure, cut, and fasten underlay and underpadding to create a solid foundation
  • Installation and Finishing
    • Measure, cut, and install carpeting on floors with precision and attention to detail
    • Measure, cut, and install resilient floor coverings to meet client specifications
    • Prepare and install hardwood floors to the highest standards
  • Quality Control and Maintenance
    • Inspect and repair damaged floor coverings to ensure a seamless finish
    • Estimate costs and materials for future installations
    • Prepare floors for installations by cleaning and preparing the surface
Work Environment and Requirements
  • Work Conditions
    • Work in a fast-paced environment with frequent bending, crouching, and kneeling
  • Physical Capabilities
    • Ability to work 35 hours per week in a permanent role
    • Proficiency in English language
