Position Overview

The Housekeeping Supervisor plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of our facilities at Howard Johnson by Wyndham. This position is responsible for overseeing the cleaning staff and ensuring that all areas meet the highest standards of hygiene and organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Staff Management: Recruit, train, and develop cleaning personnel to ensure efficient operations.
  • Supervision: Direct and coordinate the activities of the housekeeping team to maintain cleanliness and safety.
  • Quality Control: Conduct inspections of facilities to verify compliance with cleanliness and safety standards.
  • Service Coordination: Identify and arrange for additional services as needed, including maintenance and repairs.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless operations.
  • Scheduling: Create and manage work schedules for the housekeeping staff.
Qualifications

Education: A secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.

Experience: A minimum of 1 year to less than 2 years in a supervisory role within the housekeeping or facilities management sector.
