Medical Laboratory Technologist II

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Laboratory Technologist II to join our team at Northern Health Authority. As a key member of our Laboratory department, you will be responsible for performing laboratory work and related duties in various fields, including Biochemistry, Hematology, Blood Bank, Urology, and Microbiology.
Key Responsibilities- Perform laboratory tests and procedures to analyze patient samples and provide accurate results.
- Work under the supervision of the Chief Medical Technologist to ensure high-quality laboratory services.
- Communicate effectively with healthcare professionals to report test results and provide clinical information.
- Participate in quality control and quality assurance activities to maintain laboratory standards.
- Successful completion of an approved Canadian Society for Medical Laboratory Science course in Medical Technology.
- Current registration as a member of the Canadian Society for Medical Laboratory Science.
