We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Laboratory Technologist II to join our team at Northern Health Authority. As a key member of our Laboratory department, you will be responsible for performing laboratory work and related duties in the fields of Biochemistry, Hematology, Blood Bank, Urology, and Microbiology.
Key Responsibilities- Perform laboratory tests and procedures to analyze patient samples and provide accurate results.
- Report data obtained to physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Work under the supervision of the Chief Medical Technologist to ensure high-quality laboratory services.
- Collaborate with other laboratory staff to ensure efficient and effective laboratory operations.
- Participate in quality control and quality assurance activities to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Successful completion of an approved Canadian Society for Medical Laboratory Science course in Medical Technology.
- Current registration as a member of the Canadian Society for Medical Laboratory Science.
- Accuracy in the performance of duties and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Four weeks vacation with one year of continuous service.
