We are seeking a dedicated Accounting Clerk to join our team at 3059308 Nova Scotia Ltd. o/a HI Dartmouth. This role is essential in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring smooth financial operations.
Educational Requirements- Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
The successful candidate will work within the hospitality sector, contributing to our financial management.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare journal entries and manage both accounts receivable and accounts payable.
- Compile trial balances and conduct bank reconciliations.
- Monitor and review financial behaviors regarding deposits, withdrawals, and spending patterns.
- Process payroll and invoice clients efficiently.
- Maintain, update, and retrieve financial data as needed.
- Perform clerical tasks, including filing and record-keeping.
- Prepare various financial reports to assist in decision-making.
Proficiency in the following is essential:
- Word processing software
- Accounting software
- Spreadsheet applications
- Internet navigation
A basic security clearance is necessary for this position.
Travel RequirementsThe role may require occasional travel.
