Financial Record Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated Financial Record Specialist to join our team at Total Gas & The Fireplace Ltd. This role is essential for maintaining the integrity of our financial records and ensuring accurate reporting.
Qualifications- Education: College/CEGEP
- Experience: 3 to 5 years in a similar role
- Calculate and prepare payroll cheques.
- Maintain comprehensive financial records and balance various accounts using both manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
- Oversee general ledgers and prepare financial statements.
- Post journal entries accurately.
- Generate statistical, financial, and accounting reports as needed.
- Reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Proficient in accounting software.
- Strong knowledge of MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Word, and MS Office.
- Experience with QuickBooks.
The ideal candidate will possess the ability to work independently and efficiently.
