Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Financial Record Specialist to join our team at Total Gas & The Fireplace Ltd. This role is essential for maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring the smooth operation of our accounting processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Payroll Management: Calculate and prepare cheques for employee payroll.
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain and balance various accounts using both manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
  • General Ledger Maintenance: Oversee general ledgers and prepare financial statements.
  • Journal Entries: Post journal entries accurately and timely.
  • Reporting: Prepare statistical, financial, and accounting reports as needed.
  • Account Reconciliation: Regularly reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy.
