Restaurant Operations Manager

SME PIZZA ONTARIO LTD. is seeking a skilled Restaurant Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant, maintaining high standards of quality and service, and leading a team of food service staff.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish and implement efficient methods to meet work schedules and ensure timely food preparation and service.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all tasks are completed to the highest standard.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
- Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, minimizing waste and optimizing inventory.
- Hire and manage food service staff, providing guidance and support to ensure their success.
- Monitor and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for business growth and improvement.
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
- Permanent position with 35 hours per week.
- English language proficiency.
Our restaurant operates in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, requiring the ability to work under pressure and maintain a high level of productivity. The role involves standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, kneeling, and walking, making it a physically demanding position.
