At All Canada Contracting & Renovation Ltd., we are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for preparing estimates of labour and/or material costs, preparing layouts in conformance to building codes, and measuring, cutting, shaping, assembling, and joining materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials. You will also fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware, schedule and coordinate work on sites, and estimate costs and materials. Additionally, you will participate in a government or community program or initiative that supports newcomers and/or refugees, support newcomers and/or refugees with foreign credential recognition, and participate in a government or community program or initiative that supports youth employment. You will also offer on-the-job training tailored to youth, participate in a government or community program or initiative that supports Veterans, participate in a government or community program or initiative that supports Indigenous people, and provide cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers. **Key Responsibilities:**

* Prepare estimates of labour and/or material costs
* Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes

* Schedule and coordinate work on sites
* Estimate costs and materials

**Requirements:**

* Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
* 2 years to less than 3 years of experience

**Work Environment:**

* 40 hours per week
* English language
