Carpentry Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Carpentry Specialist to join our team at All Canada Contracting & Renovation Ltd. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of workmanship in all aspects of carpentry.
Key Responsibilities- Estimating and Planning: Prepare detailed estimates of labour and material costs for various construction projects.
- Site Management: Schedule and coordinate work on construction sites, ensuring timely completion of projects.
- Carpentry Tasks: Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, and other materials to create high-quality carpentry products.
- Installation and Finishing: Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware to meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
- Material Management: Estimate costs and materials required for projects, ensuring efficient use of resources.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in carpentry or a related field.
- Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Participate in government or community programs that support newcomers and refugees, and provide support with foreign credential recognition.
- Support for Youth: Participate in government or community programs that support youth employment, and offer on-the-job training tailored to youth.
- Support for Veterans: Participate in government or community programs that support Veterans.
- Support for Indigenous People: Participate in government or community programs that support Indigenous people, and provide cultural competency training to create a welcoming work environment.
- Support for Visible Minorities: Participate in government or community programs that support members of visible minorities.
- Language of Work: English.
- Hours of Work: 40 hours per week.
