Carpentry Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Carpenter to join our team at All Canada Contracting & Renovation Ltd. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of workmanship in all aspects of carpentry, from preparation to completion.
Key Responsibilities- Estimation and Planning: Prepare detailed estimates of labour and material costs for projects, taking into account building codes and regulations.
- Site Management: Schedule and coordinate work on sites, ensuring timely completion of projects and maintaining a safe working environment.
- Carpentry and Joinery: Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials to create high-quality structures and fixtures.
- Installation and Fitting: Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware, ensuring precise measurements and a seamless finish.
- Material Management: Estimate costs and materials required for projects, ensuring efficient use of resources and minimizing waste.
- Newcomers and Refugees: Participate in government or community programs that support newcomers and refugees, providing guidance on foreign credential recognition and career development.
- Youth Employment: Participate in initiatives that support youth employment, offering on-the-job training tailored to their needs and skills.
- Veterans: Participate in programs that support Veterans, providing a welcoming work environment and opportunities for career growth.
- Indigenous People: Participate in initiatives that support Indigenous people, providing cultural competency training and awareness to create a inclusive work environment.
- Visible Minorities: Participate in programs that support members of visible minorities, promoting diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
- Work Term: Permanent position with a regular 40-hour workweek.
- Work Language: English.
