Clinical Services Team Leader

Position Overview
As a key member of the leadership team, the Clinical Services Team Leader plays a vital role in overseeing the daily operations of clinical service delivery. Collaborating closely with the Clinical Manager, this position is designed to provide essential administrative, organizational, and leadership support to the Outpatient Mental Health & Addictions team while also engaging in direct clinical service delivery in a professional capacity.
Key ResponsibilitiesThe Team Leader will:
- Ensure effective and evidence-based therapeutic interventions are provided to clients dealing with Mental Health & Addictions.
- Support and guide clinical staff in delivering high-quality treatment modalities.
- Identify opportunities for service enhancement and lead quality improvement initiatives.
- Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures, orientation materials, and other care guidelines.
- Foster a client-centered approach in decision-making, customer service, problem-solving, and conflict resolution.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Nursing, Counselling (with a Clinical Undergraduate Degree), or Occupational Therapy.
- Licensure with the relevant professional body.
- A minimum of three years of experience in Mental Health & Addictions intervention.
- Competency in providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to inspire a diverse team.
- Proficiency in additional languages is considered an asset, with French being preferred.
This is a full-time position requiring a commitment of 75 hours bi-weekly, with a long-term assignment structure.
Compensation and BenefitsThe hourly wage for this role ranges from $44.37 to $51.73. Successful candidates may also qualify for a comprehensive benefits package, which includes health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage, along with a defined benefit pension plan for permanent long assignments.
