Nova Scotia Health is seeking a dedicated and experienced Mental Health & Addiction Team Leader to join our team at Cape Breton Regional Hospital.
In this role, you will play a vital part in coordinating and supervising the delivery of community-based mental health and addiction services. You will lead a multidisciplinary team, ensuring comprehensive care is provided to clients across the lifespan.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing clinical supervision and support to the multidisciplinary team, with a focus on new clinicians and those with limited experience in this specialty.
- Ensuring all clinical staff deliver effective and evidence-based treatment modalities to clients.
- Identifying areas for service improvement and facilitating quality initiatives.
- Developing Standard Operating Procedures, orientation materials, and other guidelines for care.
- Providing leadership to the team in client-centered decision making, customer service, problem solving, and conflict resolution.
We are looking for an individual who possesses:
- A Master's degree in Social Work.
- Current licensure with the Nova Scotia College of Social Workers (NSCSW).
- Three years of experience working in mental health and addiction intervention.
- Strong clinical skills and experience providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions to clients.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
