About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Landscape Labourer to join our team at Special Touch Landscaping. As a key member of our grounds maintenance team, you will be responsible for assisting with various landscaping tasks to ensure our outdoor spaces are well-maintained and visually appealing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with Landscape Constructions: Collaborate with our experienced team to assist with landscape constructions, including planting, pruning, and installing various features.
  • Tie and Secure Plants: Ensure plants are securely tied and stabilized to prevent damage or loss.
  • Weed, Prune, and Trim Trees and Plants: Regularly inspect and maintain trees and plants to ensure they remain healthy and visually appealing.
  • Cut Grass: Maintain our lawns by cutting grass to the required height and ensuring even growth.
  • Remove Litter and Garbage: Regularly clean up litter and garbage from our outdoor spaces to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Lay Sod or Seed: Assist with laying sod or seeding new areas to ensure a lush and vibrant appearance.
  • Plant Bulbs, Flowers, Shrubs, and Trees: Plant a variety of bulbs, flowers, shrubs, and trees to enhance the visual appeal of our outdoor spaces.
  • Apply Fertilizers: Apply fertilizers to plants and trees to promote healthy growth and development.
  • Dig Cemetery Graves: Assist with digging cemetery graves as required.
  • Repair and Maintain Equipment: Regularly inspect and maintain our equipment to ensure it remains in good working condition.
  • Water and Tend to Plants, Lawns, and/or Gardens: Regularly water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens to ensure they remain healthy and visually appealing.
  • Operate and Maintain Landscape Maintenance Equipment: Operate and maintain various landscape maintenance equipment, including mowers, trimmers, and other tools.
  • Tree Removal: Assist with the removal of trees as required.
Requirements
  • Experience: While experience is an asset, we are willing to train the right candidate.
  • Language: English is the primary language of communication in this role.
  • Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
