About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Landscape Labourer to join our team at Special Touch Landscaping. As a key member of our grounds maintenance team, you will be responsible for assisting with various landscaping tasks to ensure our outdoor spaces are well-maintained and visually appealing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with Landscape Constructions: Collaborate with our experienced team to assist with landscape constructions, including planting, pruning, and installing various features.
  • Tie and Secure Plants: Ensure plants are properly secured to prevent damage or loss.
  • Weed, Prune, and Trim Trees and Plants: Maintain the health and appearance of our trees and plants through regular pruning and trimming.
  • Cut Grass: Maintain our lawns through regular mowing and trimming.
  • Remove Litter and Garbage: Keep our outdoor spaces clean and free of debris.
  • Lay Sod or Seed: Assist with the installation of new sod or seed to ensure our lawns are healthy and well-maintained.
  • Plant Bulbs, Flowers, Shrubs, and Trees: Assist with the planting of various flowers, shrubs, and trees to enhance the beauty of our outdoor spaces.
  • Apply Fertilizers: Assist with the application of fertilizers to promote healthy plant growth.
  • Dig Cemetery Graves: Assist with the digging of graves in a respectful and efficient manner.
  • Repair and Maintain Equipment: Assist with the maintenance and repair of our landscaping equipment to ensure it remains in good working condition.
  • Water and Tend to Plants, Lawns, and/or Gardens: Assist with the watering and maintenance of our plants, lawns, and gardens to ensure they remain healthy and well-maintained.
  • Operate and Maintain Landscape Maintenance Equipment: Assist with the operation and maintenance of our landscaping equipment to ensure it remains in good working condition.
  • Tree Removal: Assist with the removal of trees in a safe and efficient manner.
Requirements
  • Experience: While experience is an asset, we are willing to train the right candidate.
  • Language: English is the primary language of communication in this role.
  • Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
