Position Overview

The Client Account Specialist plays a crucial role in managing and maintaining customer accounts, ensuring that all financial transactions are handled efficiently and professionally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the collection of outstanding receivables, including overdue rentals and delinquent accounts.
  • Conduct credit evaluations for both term and balance forward accounts.
  • Process credit approvals for consumer and commercial rental accounts.
  • Assist clients with inquiries regarding their accounts and rental agreements.
  • Update and verify contact information for credit customers.
  • Perform various account maintenance tasks as needed.
  • Register accounts with the Personal Property Registry.
  • Utilize Equifax reports to assess creditworthiness and adhere to reporting standards.
  • Navigate the Small Claims Court system as required.
  • Provide regular updates to the Store Manager regarding account statuses.
  • Compile and submit monthly reports to the Account Services Regional Manager.

  • Availability to work during weekdays, evenings, and weekends.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation abilities.
  • Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service, both in-person and via phone.
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
  • Physical capability to lift and transport large items.
  • Proactive approach to task ownership and resolution.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Experience in consumer credit and collections is advantageous.
